Our previous earthquake aid
Turkey:
On February 10, we arrived in Samandag with the first truck full of relief supplies in form of blankets and winter jackets for children and adults. There we unloaded and helped with distribution. A second shipment also arrived and distributed in Adiyaman.
Today we purchased supplies for winter kits, food parcels and hygiene kits, which will be distributed tomorrow in Iskenderun and Arsus.
Syria:
Two teams have been active in Aleppo, distributing emergency supplies (food baskets, blankets, mattresses, water and sanitary packs). All items were purchased locally, in consultation with local people to buy exactly what is needed in that region.
Total number of the items/supplies distributed:
- 1,170 blankets
- 560 food baskets
- 500 children received winter jackets
- 600 adults received winter jackets
- 240 families received water and sanitary packs
- 100 families received mattresses
- 75 families received diapers
TODAY, 19.02. we just started another distribution in Arsus and Iskenderun.
