Medical care – Lebanon
In cooperation with our member organization, Syriac Youth Union, we provided financial support to a cancer patient in Lebanon, helping ease the burden of treatment and ensuring access to critical care. In addition, we supported one urgent surgical procedure, reaffirming our commitment to assisting vulnerable individuals in times of acute medical need.
Health & Medical Aid
Our commitment to providing life-saving medical care remains unwavering, particularly in regions where conflict, economic hardship, and displacement severely limit access to healthcare. In 2024, we advanced two major initiatives: the distribution of essential medicines and the funding of critical surgeries in Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria, as well as the continued operation of the Syriac Cross Medical Clinic in Northeast Syria.
Medicine Distribution and Life-Saving Surgeries
Access to essential healthcare is fundamental to preserving the dignity, stability, and continuity of our Christian communities. Many families are unable to afford medical treatment and are often forced to choose between seeking care abroad or enduring deteriorating health conditions. By providing vital medical assistance, we enable vulnerable individuals to remain in their homeland, strengthen community resilience, and prevent further displacement. Healthcare not only saves lives—it safeguards the future of these ancient communities on their ancestral lands.
